VNX team wishes you a beautiful holiday season and a new year of success and happiness!

2019 was an exciting year for us! 

We launched VNX platform

20 November 2019 at the Global Venture Summit in Luxembourg we launched VNX digital assets issuance platform and started operations with the “Ring the bell” ceremony announcing the first offering. Pierre Gramegna, Luxembourg Minister of Finance, who participated in the ceremony declared that “VNX is one of the success stories of Luxembourg House of Financial Technology, the LHoFT”.

We announced the first offering of digital assets representing a venture investment into one of the best Korean fintech startups – Streami (GOPAX)

Digital assets represent future proceeds from venture investment into convertible bonds issued by Streami Inc. – one of the most innovative blockchain companies in South Korea and gives an opportunity  to participate in the growth of the company – the owner of GOPAX – TOP-3 Korean crypto exchange and DASK – regulated national crypto depositary service.

Our utility token VNXLU was added to CoinMarketCap

VNX utility token was listed with the ticker VNXLU on three crypto exchanges: GOPAX, HotBit and CoinHub. VNXLU token is exclusively created to pay for services available on VNX Exchange platform.

Our token was also added to CoinMarketCap – the leading resource with cryptocurrency market cap rankings, charts, and more.

We strengthened our team

In 2019 our team added a number of great professionals:

• Michael Jackson, a renowned VC and member of the founding team of Skype, joined our Advisory Board to help development of Venture Capital and Blockchain ecosystems.
• Eugene Gavrilov, who previously held a number of leadership technology roles at the Moscow Stock Exchange joined VNX as Chief Technology Officer. Also a number of professionals in Blockchain and Product Development joined our technical team.
  
• Ilya Machnachev, a former Senior Trader at Sberbank CIB and Troika Dialog joined VNX as Head of Trading.

We shared our thoughts and vision

This year VNX team participated in a number of events in different parts of the world sharing our thoughts and vision and attracting potential partners and customers:

• In Hong Kong, VNX became a part of a premier blockchain and digital asset event, TOKEN2049, and held a joint meetup with Charlie Lee, Litecoin creator. Learn 5 takeaways here
• We couldn’t miss the leading EU tech conference ICT Spring Luxembourg and Infrachain Summit where we had productive discussions with the leading experts, devoted to digital assets adoption. Learn more
• VNX Exchange joined the Official Mission of Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce to the Republic of Korea in July 2019. The mission was led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Economy, Étienne Schneider. VNX hosted a South Korea-Luxembourg Digital Asset Summit dedicated to the latest developments in digital assets and new opportunities for unlocking liquidity for the venture capital industry.
