Interview With University of Luxembourg’s Radu State

April 9, 2019

Senior journalists from MK Economy, one of the largest weekly magazines in South Korea, visited Luxembourg to cover the country’s one-of-a-kind fintech ecosystem and interviewed its leading players including the COO of Skype, Luxembourg’s former finance minister and VNX Exchange.

We are excited to share a few interview highlights and continue posting our series with an interview with Radu State, head of the SEDAN (service and data management) research group at the University of Luxembourg’s Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust.

In his interview, State talks about 43 public-private partnerships the university is involved in, which includes cooperation with VNX Exchange, as well as the importance of offering practical training and providing applicable intellectual property for tech companies.

“There are great opportunities in Luxembourg to do these public-private partnerships because the minister of economy is actively supporting these partnerships with co-funding schemes and also, on our side, the ministry of research through the Fonds National de la Recherche is strongly encouraging and co-sponsoring these partnerships.” VNX Exchange uses this collaboration with SnT to match the best science and technology with the revolutionary idea of tokenizing venture capital.
